These two pictures are Mike Thomas self-portraits. Half-annoyed with me
taking pictures all night, Mike grabbed my camera and created the classics
above. Even though this was back in '95, I still remember clearly how he
had the entire room in hysterics. As usual.
Mike is the biggest character I know. And if you've been to enough Phish
shows, you've undoubtably seen him. Usually in the best seat in the house.
The creator of countless shirts, stickers, grilled cheeses and quesadillas,
Mike always finds a way to go to shows. Converted from a hardcore punk,
Mike has now been to more Phish shows than any of my immediate friends.
